Diecast 1/43 Le Mans 2008

Hi

Looking for some 1/43 Diecast models of the 2008 Le Mans runners - does anybody know what's out and where - or when if they're pending release?

Thanks

Nothing released as yet. However, Spark Models (and sister company Red-Line for Ferraris) will be releasing pretty much the whole field, except the Lamborghini (Ebbro) and the Porsche Spyders (Minichamps). Minichamps and Spark will both be producing the Porsche GT3s and Audis. I'd expect the Peugeots pretty soon, normally there is something out by now.

LM43 grid should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi Jim

I was only asking the same question on a diecast forum the other day; sadly no reponse as yet. As iucrmh says nothing released as yet, which is interesting as this time last year Spark had about half a dozen of the LM07 gird out, so something is slowing down releases.

I do have a full list of model numbers some where if you are interested?

The works Astons are out (and have been since June) but as a very limited edition promo, the Peugeot 908's are in a similar state - ebay has all of them but be prepared to shell out big time... the Astons are going for upwards of £90.

I wouldn't bother with either of those if you want the cars as they raced at Le Mans in 2008. They were available at the event and don't represent the cars as actually raced. Wait for the Spark or Ixo versions that should be out (eventually).

Jim, I hear Minichamps are due to release all 3 R10's at the end of the year
ref 400089801,02 & 03
then the Porsche RS Spyder's #31 & 34 ref 400086831 & 34 (2Q of 2009)
then the Porsche 911 GT3's #76, #77 & 80 400087876, 77 & 80 (?? in 2009)

But.......................the current market may well dictate otherwise?? However a release before Christmas is realistic I think!

The Spark Peugeots numbers 7, 8 and 9 are imminent. Dan-Toys in France quote 16th October.
