Peter Horsman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1960 Gilby F1 car

Does anyone know who owns it now? I think it was sold by Coys in Sept 2004.

It was bougt by Julia de Baldanza ( I think that spelling is correct) who is often seen driving the ex Neil Corner Bugatti T35B.

I may be wrong in saying this but I thought the Gilby was built in 1961 for the one and a half litre Formula 1

Initially, I thought this might develop into whether the car is being used today, but since, so far this is more about its history, I'm moving to the Motorsport History Forum.

Entered by the above-mentioned Julia De Baldanza, as you have stated. So, it's a bit of a mystery car at the moment then, in terms of whether it is a current performer! No problem to move the thread back, if we need to, but I'll leave it here in the event that anyone wants to comment further on its history.

I spoke with Julia's husband, Francesco, who tells me that it is being restored carefully back to original spec and they are hoping that it'll appear after that.

Hi, the car last appeared at the Aintree Festival of Motorsport 19-21st Nov 2004.

Julie de Baldanza flew over from South America to both see the car beingdriven around he GP circuit and also attended the drivers and owners dinner on the Saturday evening.
