97 -1 -33 podium for R1.

They need to keep the cars separated more left to right on the rolling starts.

Not as ridiculous as the WTCC did by making them drive through the grid markings, but watching Caruso almost cause a massive startline pileup at under 60 kays was a bit ridiculous.

... maybe at the drivers briefing tomorrow for v8's and porsches they can "suggest" everyone drive down the left of the main straight to clean up his side before the F1 start?

Just a thought, home town advantage and all that...

The crash with Mr Wood & Mr Mostert, allegedly initiated by Mr tander, looks a doozy... the right hand cage of the #6 is bent... lucky its not their primary race car

Although the field is down to 23 tomorrow, with the #21 and #6 scratchings...

The racing so far this weekend has put to rest the fallacy that the AGP races are boring or useless because its not a 'championship round'

Wave the green flag and this lot can't help themselves! And long may it continue, you don't have to give out numbers at the end of an event to have a motor race.

Seems the Stewards thought is was Mostert's fault, with him getting a 25 point penalty. I hope it is for the overall position of this event and not championship points which would be absolutely stupid.

So... Any thoughts on Mel McLaughlin's performance as anchor of the coverage?
She seems very nervous for some reason

How about Rachael Finch for the job? Presents well, speaks well, seems bright enough... And has tipped over as many race cars as Jason Bright this year,

Good on him, he's inexperienced. People make mistakes and I respect the man that can own up to it.

I think we all know that Tim is a hothead and says stupid stuff in the heat of the moment.

Really good racers can race that close without a big stack, normally I would say that someone like Whincup can do it really well but the stuff with Scotty earlier in the weekend nearly made me a liar!!!
