Jerry Nadeau's vacancy in #10.
Looks like Jerry Nadeau is out of the #10 Valvoline Pontiac with Jonny Benson coming back 4 Pocono race,didn't notice J.Nadeau's name on qualification charts 4 Pocono.Does any1 have any info on if He's got another ride set up,hopefully soon,yet!Thanks 4 listening!

Yep, Benson is back
Cant see Nadeau's name on the entry list, so i suppose he will be sitting this one out, and just has to wait until someone gets injured or fired.... |

gtr6,Tim B--Many thanks 4 the nice welcome,appreciate it,just joined yesterday!Also thanks(tnx)4 info,wish U cud have had some definite news abt J.Nadeau getting a ride soon,but oh well,started following J.Nadeau when He was with HMS--Hendrick Motorsports--really thought they did J.Nadeau dirty by letting Him go 4 lack of performance since He did win at Atlanta in 2000 & Terry Labonte hasn't won since Texas race in 1999 but I guess Terry's 2 Cups keep Him in His ride,IMO!I think Jerry's too gud of a driver to be left out of a ride too long!
I've been a member since April over on That's Racin' & Speed/fx boards,do any of U guys post on either of those boards,just wondering?I didn't mean to rattle on,btw I got a kick out of the many J.Gordon fans on this board & whether that's a gud thing or not,LMAO!Thanks again 4 nice welcome & plan to cruise in here every once in awhile & bug U guys some,LOL! |

24T, I agree with ya about Hendrick. I wasn't thrilled by the way he let Ricky Craven go either since he was one of the guys I like. His boy (Ricky) seems to crash a lot in the Busch series but I don't foresee him losing his ride.

I use to follow Ricky Craven as well when He was in a Chevy at HMS,gud driver but He's in a Ford now,I'll probably get some flak 4 saying this but I'm a Bowtie(Chevy)fan thru & thru,was just happy that Jeff Gordon switched to Chevy's when He came to Winston Cup.btw I'm OK with Pontiac-they're still GM,LOL!Can't comment on Hendrick's Son's performance on track as I only follow Winston Cup nowadays--did watch the handful of BGN races that J.Gordon ran in 1999-00 seasons with the Pepsi Chevy!

No probs here! I pull for the driver myself, it's just convenient that they are both in Fords.
 Matt never drove Fords until he started to drive for Roush & DJ drove a bow tie with Joe Gibbs.

Lars--I wish a lot of times I cud change Manufaturer loyalty like many fans do,might be because I have only been a NASCAR fan since 1998 & therefore not as used to fave driver being in so many different Mfgr's cars.This isn't a worry with the #24 as He's got a lifetime contract,but there're several other drivers that I pull for,but just can't really support them in a Dodge or Ford-JMO!I like Jimmie Johnson,evn tho He's showing up the Boss,LOL!,also like Ryan Newman & Kurt Busch's driving abilities but the latter 2 r in Fords--otherwise I'd be a fan of both of them!I didn't realize that DJ drove a Chevy while with Joe Gibbs,but I understand that J.Gibbs might be switching from Pontiacs to Chevy's next year.Can't recall the silly season starting as early as it has this year--seems like Ricky Rudd helped get it rolling with statement abt possible retirement!

I don't much care what kind of car anyone drives. If I did, I'd probably have to be a fan of one of the Dodge teams. (Being a lifelong Dodge owner and all.) I'm more of a stats nut. The guys with the best career stats are the ones I like. So naturally that makes me a Jeff Gordon fan.
By the way, are you the same 24Thunder that posts on the That's Racin' forum? I saw your posts here last night, then later was there and thought to myself "Hmmm, I wonder?"... In any case, welcome to the Ten Tenths NASCAR forum!

J.Nadeau in #44 Dodge
I just saw on another board that Jerry Nadeau will be in the #44 Dodge,replacing Steve Grissom,at Sears Point with Georgia-Pacific sponsorship,haven't heard how long this deal is 4,but guess He'll still sit out the Michigan race,unfortunately 4 a total of 2 races that He's missed this year thus far.
