How about Mark McNally and Alan Gurr (both of whom had stints in the main game but then disappeared from racing at a young age)?

Or Jose Fernandez (who's apparently done a few races here and there in the last years) and Team Kiwi's Bahrain substitute Fahad al Musalam?

As mentioned previously, Gurr is a signwriter.

Jose runs an automotive business in Sydney.

Last I heard. He had his own workshop and was competing in world time attack with a turbo Barra powered ex WPS BA.

I thought I read an article somewhere that he said the ute was built from scratch? Could be wrong.

Was his the BA that WPS Racing converted from an AU (ex Forbes & Colourscan) for a ride/showcar?

Saw a Chelgrave ute in traffic today - would have been the first time I've seen the branding since seeing it on one of Ellery's old race cars.

Seems I was wrong. The WPS BU was the Crompton 00 Motorsport car.
Jose bought the in house built Britek BF and fitted the Barra. Matt Chahda now owns it.
