At this phase of the race
* I don't think Pagenaud is doing the impressive stint we would have expected from him
* Hartley is having more trouble to get his lap back than I thought he would (he's between 5 and 22)

In addition to this, in general the race has slowed down quite a lot. Dane Cameron is not slow whilst leading, but this is the slowest the leaders have run in a long time. Cameron and Heidfeld are slower than Conway and Menezes were in the same cars. Bombarito isn't fast, but he's not as far off as I expected, because everyone else has slowed down.

Has any team had such consistently bad luck while running strongly in the big U.S. races?

Thankfully everyone's got their titles locked up basically, again referring to '03.

Only the #3 Corvette hasn't hit trouble as far as those leading the title chases in each class.
