Wait, I think I've got it....!

I'm assuming Monsieur La Skid is trying to sell a number (actually over ONE hundred! ) surplus Formula One publications for the grand sum of Ten English Pounds.
From his post I managed to deduce he lives in the general area of Chelmsford, in the county of Essex.
This information will be most useful to any prospective purchaser of said publications, as Mr Skid has indicated that the buyer will be responsible for transportation of these written materials from his home to theirs; note use of the word 'collect'.
With a little detective work, and just a little luck, I managed to find a full contact 'email' - type address for this new member of our wonderful Forum; it's listed in his profile! What are the chances!?

Unfortunately, Herr Skid should have posted this in Armchair Enthusiast, and made his intentions perhaps a little clearer.

Hope that clears a few things up.
(Please note: I make no charge for this unique translation service.)

I thank you.

F1 Mags.

Hi Sparky

Point taken, promise to do better next time.
All deductions correct by the way.

Regards
Monsieur La Skid.

PS No charge appreciated as,
"I am a poor boy from a poor family",... as the song goes.

No probs Skid!

We used to have a classified section, but unfortunately, so few posters took advantage of it, it was quickly withdrawn.

Anyway, welcome to the Forum, and please feel free to stick around and have a chat! You're obviously an F1 fan (Even if you are trying to get rid of the evidence! ) so join in the fun!

Sparky

(By the way, I'm in Suffolk, not a million miles from you. And I used to live in Broomfield! )

Hi Sparky

Although I live in Chelmsford now I used to live in Suffolk!
Firstly Gainsborough Estate, then Claydon, Bramford and Sproughton.

I used to go to the British GP in the days of Mansell and Hill and camp over the three days.
What joy to queue at the gates at five in the morning on race day.
These days I go to Saturday practice only, but missed the mud bath last year.

If ever I go on race day it will be with the comfort of Grandstand seats.

regards
Monsieur La Skid
