It would be nice to have a world series where cars from national championships can compete in their local round, like WTCC did with S2000

TCR? They had only 11 full season entries yet, even ignoring Macau they averaged 18 cars with a minimum 15 per round. That shows that it can work like that. They just need races where the championships are (Thailand being a great example).

Instead of TCR international a TCR World Cup. One round in Europe, one in Asia and one in Middle-East.

Ah yes, a World Cup where all the races take place on the same continent...

Don't understand the problem.
Makes no sense to have a race in South/North America when there's no local series.

I just think you would need a race somewhere in the Americas (and even better with Africa and Australia as well) to give legitimacy to a "World something". No need to rush.

It's a World Cup, not a Championship.

Qualifying results

Had 17 cars in free practice, not sure what happened to the three that are missing from qualifying. Also kinda annoying there's no column for car make and model. Either way, top 3 is BMW from 2 Audis. VW in front in GTC2.

Looks like they had serious problems with the engines at the opening round. I don't know why they bothered fiddling about with them, they seemed fine last year.
