Ben Shuckburgh should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Are there "rejection letters/emails" sent for cars definitely not in? Wondering if we've heard nothing, wether we're still in with a shout?

Ben you should enter a model that has never raced at Le Mans - you will have more chance of success!!!
You cannot fault their marketing strategy - make the punter feel he is lucky to have you accept his cash....

Is it different at Goodwood?

Free entry so they own you is only difference with many more hookey cars.

In both cases the organisers hold all the cards.

Must be good events.

Simon you should try it.Don't knock it until you have done it.

The odd major driver/entrant has decided not to do LMC this year as the amount of time you need to be there and the four hours of running time with cars.

Which odd driver is that and how odd is he?

Do not lead me.There are so many answers and all very funny.

Compare the original list with second list.

It's not that important but they are still ploughing through entries today.

We are in ! The team owner had a very nice letter rejecting the car we had entered (Triumph Spitfire ADU 7B ex works rally car) but asking us to bring another one instead (Triumph Spitfire ADU 1B) an offer we cannot refuse as this year is the 50th Anniversary of the Triumph Spitfire.

So i get to drive at the awesome La Sarthe again

Happy Days

I received a rejection letter today for my Porsche 914, so they started posting these.

Still I am very happy, in with 2 cars great.

Good morning,

Just booked our tickets so Mrs F and I will be there, travelling Newhaven - Dieppe, going out on the Wednesday and returning on the following Tuesday.

Just need to book some accomodation for when we are not at the circuit (Karting Nord) so Mrs F can recover from the camping.

Hi Ben,
We actually got an e-mail from then thanking us for our entry, and letting us know when the next selection meeting is (15th Feb).
So I guess this means we're still in the hunt as well!

Its Retromobile next week where the final wheeling and dealing will be sorted.

That will be confirmed after the rubber stamping on 15/2

Want to hope that French drivers have already had their allocation!

Not that many places left.

Lots of representation going on at Retromobile.I am happy with my situation and Ben and Eddie are still in mix.

I lodged Mr Drabbles dissapointment that a 901 Porsche had been accepted and their view was that its a very historic 2 litre car and proper and similar to those raced in 60's as many of the newer cars had been changed beyond recognition.

All grids were oversubscribed for the first time including G1.

About 40 356's entered alone.
