VESA to introduce 6.0L V8's

It has been announced today by technical director Cambell Little that the V8 Supercars are moving from cast-iron 5.0L V8's to aluminium alloy 6.0L V8 engines.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE! SOURCE HERE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI

What do you guys think? It's more in line with road going cars of today and who else makes cast iron 5.0L V8 engines these days?

Rick Astley makes some very good points. I just wish they'd introduce 2 litre rotaries instead Now that would have been a better April Fools.
