HSCC Wolds Trophy - Cadwell 21/22 April
Not long to go now to what should be a cracking meeting if last year's is anything to go by, and it's the season opener for us too.
So who is joining us this year? |

Yep will be there on the BRSCC EA unite. looking forward to this one at one of my favourite tracks and my trainee home many, many moons ago. Cadwell is a special place.
Give us a wave when we drive past. Makes us rescue crew feel wanted and loved:-) Rich S |

I hope to be there both days too...if I can remember how to work all the stuff in the camper after a long winter and if I can remember where Cadwell is. I've never marshalled there before and haven't been near the place for about 15 years. I always remember it as being a brilliant circuit but nowhere near anywhere anyone I know has ever heard of .

Eight southern softies up for this meeting. Turkish food booked on Friday evening with Thai on Saturday. Looking forward to supplying our experience and manpower at this great circuit yet again.
Better weather than today please.......... |

Started doing post allocations and so far it is Marshals per post not vice versa, but still lots of room for anyone wanting to see F3 and Touring Cars at Cadwell Park (an experience not to be missed)

Thanks for the info and we will prime our own Lord Percy to try these phrases. Mind you , some of the staff are definately bred in Louth from their accents!
But the service is good and the food is excellent......really sets us up for a 7 am start, full brekka and out on circuit by 8.30 the next day!! |

A BIG THANK YOU to all the Marshals who braved the rain and hail today, sorry we couldn't finish the day as planned (too many rivers crossing the track).
Hope fully tomorrow the rain may be a bit more kind to us and we will be able not only to catch up with the left-overs from today but all of tomorrow's programme too. Thank you again, it is very much appreciated. |

OK, so we started with having to put extra practice / races in after yesterday's weather but with the help of all our excellent crew we actually finished 1 minute before the revised timetable suggested (and only 9 minutes behind the originally published one).
So this is a heartfelt thank you to everyone on both days from myself, Julian, John & Brian (the Clerks) and the organising club - HSCCC - for the excellent marshalling & recovery work. Thank you too for being patient with us during particularly adverse weather. I hope you all had a safe trip home & you will join us again soon at Cadwell Park for more fun and entertainment. |

On behalf of the Historic FF2000 drivers, I'd just like to say thankyou to everyone at Cadwell for keeping things running in very difficult conditions. I hope the on-track entertainment provided some compensation for the regular soakings...

Got soaked, got hailed on, got really cold, hung about for ages waiting for a decision on Saturday. Sunday was a lot better and the decision to combine all the Touring Cars gave us a brilliant race, best of the weekend for me.
First time I've to Cadwell for years. Many thanks to the guys on Posts 17 and 5/12 for sorting me out and to all the racers for trying so hard in some really trying conditions. I think I'll be back. Steve |
