e_peña should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

im a high school student from mexico im very interested in f1 engines,well im a begginer, this might sound silly but can any one explain me if the box located above the engine is the air filter? and, is the intake manifold located underneath the filter? how do pneumatic valves work?

Hi

Hopefully you should see an attached picture of an engine.

Anyway, try these websites, as they are more F1 orientated and I'm sure you'll find answers to all your questions there.
