NZSTfan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Great news and something that i have been aware of for some time.

Moderators, this discussion should be moved to the 'V8ST Te News 2013' thread as the previous posts do not relate to Ruapuna, round 2, but does relate to general 'news' for the series

I am guessing too that the cars sponsor will be Hankook.

And a fourth on the way. Personally i hope its the new Mazda 6

I think sometimes what you refer to as "secret squirrel bs" could also be referred to as "commercially sensitive information" for whatever reasons.

That's often bandied about when it comes to QANGOs like ATEED too... but then they should actually be accountable to us ratepayers, even though clearly they are not.

couldn't agree more. it's all well and good slagging any attempt for TLX to grow some roots, and create ficticious reports of failures in their ranks, but " thou shalt not underline the efforts of supertouters to become the 'be all and end all of touring cars in NZ' even when re-quoting previous comments laid down by thyne heirachy".

It's not much of a secret to get riled-up over though is it. When you come down to it, it's just panels on a car.

Purty, curvy, lovely panels..

Probably because this is was simply phase one of the V8 SuperTourer crew's ultimate plan - to obtain the worlds weaponry, take over the planet and destroy humanity as we know it.

Or maybe, very far-fetched theory of course, they were still penning a deal with Hyundai/Hankook/Kim Jong Un/etc and wanted to keep the Hyundai body confidential - citing South Africa as a diversion?

Doesn't really matter either way. Panels on a car, as I said. Unless Hyundai themselves are throwing money in the pot - in which case, it's almost a big deal

Agreed. The Toyotas look and sound superb, and I would love to see more of them on the track.
