Argentine Circuits

Just looking on wiki and they have a list of tracks grouped in to their countries:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._racing_tracks

Check out some of the ones from Argentina - they're awesome!

The best three are Potrero de los Funes, San Juan and Balcarce. Lots of fast corners, hills and even bridges in two of them.

Now some province governments are building new circuits or updating current ones. Soon they will have the highest circuit per capita rate.

I think the Isle of Man is probably still in first.

If you count street circuits in regular use, it's almost certainly Monaco - one for every 30,000 people.

Man has only 80000 inhabitants and at least four circuits used this year, 1 circuit/20000 inhabitants if not more. Wikipedia gives a recent estimate of about 40 million inhabitants of Argentina which means would mean Argentina would have to have no less than 2000 circuits to trump that. Interesting discussion we've started here though.

Didn't even realise there was such a rank.

Or have we just made that up now!

Perhaps someone would like to rank countries in this way....if you've got the time!

All we'd have to do is convince the Vatican to allow a race there - it would make all the other countries pale in comparison

Yeh some of the layouts are very imaginitive and just have pure racing in mind, rather than safety first, quite clearly.

There definitely seems to be a bit of a theme (kind of linking back to the national track characteristics thread)
