I'm looking forward for that. Hiroki Katoh is a very great driver and IMO he needs teammate with equal performance (or professional driver) to get the most of the car, which I think difficult to happen with current lineup.

Okayama official test
We had a gearbox trouble in first day, yesterday. This is the same trouble as last year's Okayama test. However, used gearbox was delivered from Gotemba factory. So we could participate in the 2nd day test thanks to mechanic (they worked all-night). I have a tentative optimism. Okayama test We had a gearbox trouble in first day, so we couldn't run so much. However, we could run in peace in 2nd day. Although road surface was resurfaced, our lap time was not satisfactory. But this is not a race, so time is not important. Yes, we have a satisfactory test content result. I'll go Fuji test next weekend, However Jorg Muller will be absent. Bentley team have a constant laps. However their lap times are not competitive. And Team Studie have not-so-great lap time as usual. BMW Japan might disturb the team. Session 4 result. Team Studie always trails behind Team ARTA. They might have a systematic problem despite of BMW Japan support. And Bentley team also might have a trouble. |

It was a bad hit, but the rest of the car seems intact - I'd be more than a bit surprised if they couldn't fix the rear suspension in time to run at Fuji for at least a day.
They did alright with no pre-season testing at all last season, so there's that. |

This tweet says that If manufacturer support is inferior, the car wouldn't make for repair until Fuji test. But AUDI's support is very good according to Autosport magazine. So they can repair the car until Fuji test. This twitter is by SGT fan, not by concerned personnel. So don't take it seriously. |

I know you are MEGA BMW fan.
The quality of the manufacturer support and the too much trouble of M6GT3 car is the another question. BMW's support program is not so bad according to Autosport magazine. |

Sebring 12 hours race was held yesterday.
BMW Motorsport challenged by two M6GTLM, and two GT Daytona. However the result was not satisfactory. BMW drivers comments that the difference in BoP is the cause of defeat. They are professional driver. So they mince it. My friend Will Turner fought by two GTD. But it was also tough race for him. Race winner was Corvette. American car win in American race. Japanese car win in Japanese race. British car win in British race. Volvo and SAAB win in Swedish race. This can't be avoided. |

difference in bop?
M6 gtlm got the most favourable bop between gtlm cars, and in gtd the amg gt3 that won the race is heavier than m6 gt3.. is so hard to admit that a gt3+ car has no future in current GTLM rules ? |

Super GT's BoP is different from IMSA's though. Heck, it's even different from the SRO's because it has to account for a three-way tyre war and an entirely different class of cars competing against them every round.
This is what I love about the current GT300 class by the way. |

He translated that piece from the quote above. I don't know what's wrong with that observation anyway. It's kind of true. Manufacturers always want to win their home race, possibly more than other races. Nationalistic pride and all that.
