NSW State Championships 21-22 March

HI All,

The NSW state chmpionships kick off this weekend at Eastern Creek Raceway. If you want to see the stars of tomorrow (sometimes of yesterday as well) then come out and support YOUR permanent racing facility in Sydney.

Over the two days there are 9 qualifying sessions and 27 races (yes in two days) and on top of that you can get close to the cars and drivers for minimal cost.

Classes competing include:
Formula Ford 1600[*]Formula Vee[*]Racing and Sports Cars[*]Improved Production - Over & Under 2L[*]Combined Touring[*]Sports Sedans,[*]HQ's[*]Production Sports Cars[*]Superkarts

Sounds great. I will be heading to the EC round later in the year. How many entries are there for each category (roughly)?

There are 17 overs and 16 under for Improved production.
Good luck to Ryan Brown.
I wont get to this round but will hopefully have a run at Wakefield in the second round.

We'll be there in ProdSports in our Lotus. Tim is driving the car this year and I will share for the 1 hour races.

22 cars entered for ProdSports including 6 Lotuses.

Sounds like a great weekend. I hope to make a round at OP later in the year as well. It really is a great series. I attended a few meetings last year and they were some of the best meetings I have ever attended.
Are HQ's still involved in the series?
I have also heard of race meetings on the weekends of the October long weekend and the 26/27 September at Oran Park? Does anyone have any information? Cheers.

Strange? I think a few of the F3 cars had dramas, but it looks good and goes hard!

This wins the livery contest however...

Tim Mackie having just completed a ballsy pass around the outside of turn 6/inside of turn 7. What a move, hope you got that on the incar Dave!

More pics here, more to come tomorrow!

Bugger. Blue skies today, hopefully won't get drenched shooting Vees again... seems to happen all too frequently!
