I sincerely hope you're not claiming there's an inequality in the government contribution stakes, Ford, Holden and Toyota are all very much on the teat to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

But then again so is every business big enough to pay off some pollies.

Tax breaks for mining companies, sure no problem! Carbon exemptions for "essential" industries, of course!

We tax payers just end up buffing up the profits of all the already wealthy companies. Bank bailouts anyone? Hell why not just bail out whole countries.
