Snetterton (750MC) 19/10/03

All going well as regards work (that's blown it then.. ), I shall be at Snetterton not only for the first time at the circuit, but also the first time at any 750MC meeting (yes, I know...)

So, anyone else going to be there?

I will be there, Asp if you need to know any deatils about where to park, sign on etc drop me a PM and I will fill you in. The 750MC are great to marshal for as the grids are always full and the racing is always good, they are my favourite club to marshal for and I'm really looking forward to this meeting. One thing I will say is it was bitterly cold there last weekend so make sure you have plenty of layers on and a big flask of coffee/tea.

WEll, I've just browsed your website, and was marshalling at Croft in June - a good weekend for the team? With any luck, I'll prove to be a good luck icon!

Yes Alan.

Mallory has; Formula 4, 750 Trophy, Kit Cars, Roadsports, Locost & Sports 1000.

Snetteton has; 750 Formula, Hot Hatchs, Pro Stocks, Stock Hatchs, 7s, RGB, John Cooper Challenge and SR&GT

The Recue unit I think its parking up at Huntingdon or Peterborough and going to a shout at either circuit from there

Now I know how Pete Harding is going to deal with both meetings.
Any way I shall be there.

Great day out today - great racing, spoke to lots of new faces, let loose with a set of flags for the morning (Thin orange line and all that )- and, even better, I won my first raffle prize! I think I can go to Snetterton again Thanks to all

Sorry that we didn't get the chance to meet today Asp but I'm glad you enjoyed your first meeting at Snetterton. I was down at the Bombhole and despite all those stock hatches I had very little to do apart from get cold!! All the races were great, a good way to end their season.

How cold were you Claire ,I was at Thruxton today and it was Freeeeezing!!!!! from what i heard the racing was a lot better that where i was, 8 races and the biggest grid was 16 (I think) pathetic, and the races were so dull I was bored after the 2nd race

Hope you had a great weekend. and enjoy the break next week

Thanks to all the marshals at Snet yesterday. and for the quick response at stopping the SRGT race when the oil was dumped. It was nice to meet bacon sandwich, sorry I was a bit uncommunicative but I was preocupied fiddling with my carbs and being a typical man can't do two things at once.

Jamie, which post were you on? True some of the races had poor grids but there were 22 MGs for the last race! Thought the Ginettas had one of the best races this year! Formula Saloons and BARC Renaults were embarrassingly small grids though.
