Donington one day, Silverstone the next, must be mad, what the hell, I've got holidays to use up.
I also fancy the 8 or 9 March and one day at the beginning of April - choice from 3 or 4 or 5 if I remember rightly.
I've got a digital camera to play with at Donington

Cool! I thought I may as well do them back to back. Two days off in a row

Carrie - As long as you promise not to be as annoying as Craig when he got his camcorder!

21st it is then.

I will be interested in other dates, but too early to plan it now for me. The way I am going, I will have used up all my holiday entitlement before the summer finishes! I'll let you know when, nearer the time, Carrie but will probably be April or May.

My apologies to Lorna for asking this on Cool Sites.

Whats the go if you wish to attend an F1 test day? Do you just rock up and see who's there? Does Bernie or Silverstone charge megabucks for the viewing or is it free?

Hi redback - no apology needed.

Basically, you walk up to the main gate at Silverstone (parking is to the left after you have driven in the main entrance) wave at the nice security man and make your way to Luffield which is by the main entrance. There is no fee but restriction is just to Luffield - you can not get into the paddocks to meet the drivers. It's as simple as that.

Are you around on the 21st February, redback, because there are a few of us going on that day?

Aauugh!

No fair, folks. Here I am trying to save money, and you dangle the prospect of a 10-tenths gathering in front of me.

Oh well - there goes the food budget for that week.

We've heard from Sarah and she will meet up with us at Silverstone on 14 June and drive us down to Dover (with stop at grocery store on the way).

Now can somebody pick us up at the airport and drive us to Silverstone? We can pay in Canadian beer if desired.

Nice one Woody! Arrangements are being made for sleep overs as we speak

Unfortunately, I will be staying at Woody's that night, Liz, so won't be able to. Sorry. Which airport is it and what time out of interest? - maybe something can be worked out?

Craig . Is it really a definite no no?

Sparky Junior - ah, Silverstone test day wouldn't be the same

Tim - I'll bring a packed lunch - at least you can eat on that day. You gotta come!

Bella - I don't believe we have met yet. Will be able to put another face to a name. Looking forward to it.

It'll be Gatwick, and probably around 8:00 in the morning but we don't have the tickets yet.

Plenty of time to come up with something, I guess.

Thanks for the info Lorna. I'm looking at trying to get to the April 3 test day. I'll keep and eye out on Trackside as it gets closer to see who's going. I'll definately be at the Power Tour on April 1 also.
