All these young blokes have to get in line behind David Thexton.

So if Wilbur heads overseas to race, what will he do with his collection of team shirts?

Still mates of the boss so you have reason to worry I would think.

If Will gets only a co-driver role, it'll be with SVG.

It'll be the 4th co-driver in 4 years for SvG if that happens.

Still, they'd be a strong combo.

Is it just me, or do Journo's, Bradley, and keyboard commentators alike all seem to think it is Bradley's choice of who sits in the #21 if Tim decides to retire? I would have thought as the REC owner it is Tim's choice?

Valid point.

There would be a few detirmining factors involved, and I don't believe Mr M. Joes would have a guarenteed gig, particularly if the budget couldn't be raised from within the BJR dowry.

If the exisiting sponsor group remains on board, I think the Blanchard family will ultimately decide who represents their brand.

Nice attempt at trolling.

Without seeing the contract I have no knowledge, just like anyone other than Bradley and Tim, of its contents other than what is public.

On face value that is Tim owns the REC and decided to house it at BJR for the term of the contract. As the REC owner it is up to him who sits in the seat.

Now there may be other terms and appropriate consideration in the background, however in my opinion, that is not what has been made publicly available.

Tim can take the REC wherever he wants.

However My understanding is BJR are running the REC and make key decisions regarding the REC while it is connected to BJR

perhaps you might want to look up what trolling is!

Im telling you my understanding of how the BJR relationship works, that does not make me a troll, neither does having a different opinion.

Brad Jones having a different opinion than you does not make him a troll either

Its just means BJR have more say than you think on what happens next year with the REC if it stays at BJR,

If Mr M.Jones is destined for #21 next season as suggested above, does it suggest that the BJR Super2 program may not proceed, with both family members stepping out of the drivers’ seat

IMO it is primarily run as an outlet for the family to get some development, with any additionals to purely allow for economies of scale. So if the family is no longer there, there is no point. However, Macca will still be there, IMO

I get the family bit, there are 3 chassis, a transporter, the operating equipment for on the road & the workshop all adding to costs.. building 2 new chassis for the Super2 program this year from scratch rather than hand-me-downs takes real money too...

WTF, really guys.
Tim owns the REC, he has found a nice place to sit it. Just like Horse racing, buy a neddy and find a good stable to place it in, and if all goes well, get some dividends back on your investment.

We are not all privy to how they run each business, just like the Owners of Winx, they are not going to detail the fees etc that it cost for running this needy, just like BJR, are not going to release to the public how it operates the program for racing in the main game and the S 2's

This I am sure of, Brad, Kim and Tim would have regular meetings and look at the available pool of drivers, compare , results, times etc, and what can said driver value add to BJR.

The key point in all negotiations is that.
What can they Value Add, to the organisation

so stop bickering, and drop the Troll crap,
There is another site for that

enough said
