2018 Turismo Carretera schedule:

Feb 18 - Viedma
Mar 11 - Neuquén
Apr 1 - San Luis
Apr 22 - Concepción del Uruguay
May 6 - tbd
May 27 - Concordia
Jun 10 - Termas de Río Hondo
Jul 29 - Posadas
Ago 19 - tbd
Sep 9 - Paraná
Sep 30 - La Pedrera
Oct 14 - La Pampa
Oct 28 - Chubut
Nov 18 - El Villicum
Dec 9 - tbd

El Villicum is a new racetrack in San Juan, very close to El Zonda. This latter track hosted TC only once in 1968, as it's too short and narrow.

Also, the Buenos Aires province has no racetrack announced, which is very strange.

The Turismo Carretera is considering to return to Balcarce, the racetrack where Guido Falschi died after a horrific crash. No improvements have been made, actually some parts have been vandalized, but the local government is willing to invest in a revamp.

Torino has just seven drivers: Facundo Ardusso, Emiliano Spataro (Renault Sport), Leonel Pernía (Laboritto), Josito Di Palma (AA Racing), Carlos Okulovich (Maquin Parts), Alan Ruggiero (Azul), and Nicolás González (AyP).

The Turismo Carretera will start the 2018 season this weekend at Viedma.

Do you think Rossi will get to grips with the Ford this year after a difficult time last year?

I don't really follow Turismo Carretera. As far as I know, Chevrolet had a performance advantage, so rivals would complain. The ACTC now "closes" the technical regulations at the astart of the year, rather than change air restrictors and minimum weights every two races as in the early 2010s.
