Ross0604 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hill climb newbie help

Hi all I have a few questions, I would like to do some hill climbs next year. I live in the southwest and looking at the HSA speed championship where i would attend such venues as Castle Combe, Gurston Down and Presscott.

1st question is which club should i join?

Secondly I will be using my 94 Impreza type RA and its modified and already stripped out. Would i come under Class C2?

Do i need a cage for this class?

Do my Bucket seats and harnesses need to be in date?

If you are a member of the HSA and entered for the HSA/SBD Speed Championship in 2014 you will be able to enter some events at Gurston, Prescott, Combe without having to be a member of the organising club.

All your questions can be answered by checking into the HSA online, just Google HSA!

I have a similar question, but Midlands orientated.

I guess the obvious answer is 'Midlands hillclimb championship ' but I wanted to see the alternatives.

Here's my situation....

After twenty years of racing, I stopped five years ago. I have a keen interest in historic Motorsport venues, and I'd love to add Prescott, Shelsley, Harewood etc to my list of places that I've experienced.

I have no interest in modifying my car...I'd want to be in the standard class and i only have time for four or five events a year.

If anyone can advise which series would get me to those venues without having to spend a fortune on multiple membership fees,I'd appreciate the advice. Thanks.

As before, the SBD/HSA Speed Championship for 'B' licence holders goes to the places you mention with no compulsion to do more events than suit you. Once again, look up HSA on Google and all will be revealed. You can even join online!
