Historic Warwick

The Labour Day long weekend of May 1-3 sees the Historic Racing Car club of Queensland hosting their annual"no-frills" meeting at Morgan Park, Warwick.

The programme commences at a sensible hour on Saturday morning and finishes at lunchtime on the public holiday Monday. All 5th category Historic classes are invited as well as 2nd category Sports Cars. There will be at least 4 races for each class as well as Supersprints and Regularity trials.

Super. I've got stock take at work on Saturday, but it's still a bonus to get 2 race days in

Supposedly due to competitor feedback, the event has now been shortened to just 2 days; Saturday and Sunday.

Entries have closed and there is a total of just 120, somewhat down on last year. There are 25 entries in Group N, down from the 35 we had last year, but this will likely stop them from splitting the grid, which will make the racing better, for spectators.
