Leanne was at Mallala over the weekend so couldn't have done FV6, even if she had wanted to... so we'll have to see if she turns out later in the year.

the problem on v6 is the lack of cars in asia. 16 cars were made and just 14 are to race in asia. michael ho is waiting macau dollars to race in some races, ct motorport has their cars parked in a garage and euroasia of mark godard cant find drivers cause of his mistakes in f3 asia. afos should stop this cars and go to buy in europe something better.

The problem is not the lack of cars , i think there are more than 16 cars build by Tattuss
What is missing in Asia is promoters and communication improvment, then sponsorship will come along . Formula Master (was) is supposed to be introduce but not much news about it ... The problem is not to find cars available to race, the problem is to find drivers able to step-up in such cars ... |

there was 21 cars at Monaco in 2004...
http://www.renault-sport.com/fr/circ...p?csv=4111.csv anyway i believe Formula Renault V6 was not the best car for asian teams... even european ones did not really enjoyed this car... |

bamber is a european level driver and he is going to win the championship if ebrahim doesnt stop him now. if you're a fan of digg, you've probably been noticing that frv6 of afos are becoming less and less a feature of the racing news sites.

Ro Charlez also had bad luck after qualifying on front row of grid for race 1 and being taken out at the first corner. Then race 2 from starting 7th and finished 2nd. Armaan and Charlez both suffer for luck but the pace was very strong. I hear the race commentator speak to Charlez and learn this is his second year of competition and this was his first actual race since 2005 as he didn't race on 2006-2007.
The main problem with V6 Asia was the rest of the grid is small but the top drivers are still decent but i hope they can find some more cars as they are nice to watch and the racing at the front was close with Grunwell chasing Charlez hard and Charlez chasing Bamber hard the whole race and quite close till the end with unfortunate lapped traffic on last lap. But also i hear the car has problem with spare parts and this is making many teams careful to join, hope they can sort it all out as it's nice for Asia to have some big level formula racing (on top of GP2Asia which is still more a European series just racing in Asia). |

Earl's doing the series for all the right reasons. His relationship with Meritus is strong after years of racing for them now, and he sees it as a viable way to rack up more financial support in the Asian scene in the wake of a possible GP2 Asia campaign next year.
From there, who knows... |

good idea of rant. formula asia v6 can be a good trampoline for those kids aiming gp2 asia in asia. bamer in meritus would be a top 10 in gp2 asia. may be afos need to merge asian races to middle east races to have more cars and teams. middle east likes gp2 asia and asia dont like v6 very much.

good to see Recardo Bruins back on racing, probably in preparation for A1GP team Korea, even if he was 7.5sec off the pace in qualifying

If you remenber opening event Champ only one car avliable because their 2nd car's engine has gone,it makes Jeffery forced to sidelined.Seems the problem hasn't solved after engine change ,so both races he has retired. Also, deal should be done very late as pre-race PR claimed the driver should be in Micheal instead of him.Anyway you can see his lap time can 2sec faster than Qualifly at least. |

every body knows matias breche isnt as good as hanss lin and the result you can see. i said to michael:- he need to give hanss better prices to make him run again cause hanss can make podiuns. kelvin chen is doing very good but kelvin is learning. try even harder. formula v6's needs more cars and more drivers. it was a shame euroasia is out due to mark godard scandal in asia f3 and asian drivers like aderly fong, rodolfo avila, ananda mikola, satrio hermanto, zhahir ali, hanss lin, adam khan ,denis liam, chris murchinson are not racing in the championship cause the cars not good.
