Russfeld should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sponsorship from the City of Phoenix?

I seem to recall seeing photos of 'Phoenix' sponsorship on the helmet of Kyle Petty, and also Johnny Miller in the Trans-Am series. Does anyone know more about this or have a photo? I found it odd that a town would be sponsoring like that, and as a racing driver from Phoenix, was surprised Id never heard about it

Not really that odd. The commonwealth of Virginia sponsored Hermie Sadler. (I almost said state of virginia. )
