Welcome to the A1GP Forum

Hi all,

Welcome to the new A1GP forum.

Like you, we're hoping that this new series will do well and grow in stature and we wanted to provide a place to discuss it.

Many thanks to Kicking-Back for suggesting the idea!

Enjoy!

Hopefully this forum will be a great success - having spoken to some people "in the know" they're convinced this series will be huge.

At first I wasn't really behind the series, but after learning more about it, I feel it has grown on me, it certainly has the potential to be as good as it makes out.

I'm all for it, and hope it's a success. I don't claim to be an expert on aerodynamics, but it seems to me that the lack of overtaking in other classes of motorsport comes down to the "dirty air" behind the cars making the following car lose it's down force. This is even starting to turn our V8 Supercar series into a procession. I hope this isn't the case with A1GP, but I don't see how they can avoid it. A suggestion from this humble fan, get rid of the wings and get the cars sliding again. Then we'll see who the real drivers are.
