I just got back home from the Top Ten Shoot out and Skaife spun coming out of turn one just out of view of the grandstand. The Ford fans all went nuts as you can expect.

Great day out there today and I think as long as the weather holds out tonight it will be packed tomorrow ! I live only 20kms away and it has just turned from a nice sunny day into dark grey clouds in the space of an hour.

5 of the top 6 fords.....right, now its time to talk parity (just kidding), good to see ambrose get pole, man he is flying this year, in my opinion that pirtek ford has been the best ford for a cuppla years now, its a pity bairdy didnt do it justice last year.....

another thing, i really thought david besnard would out shine marcus ambrose this year, still there is a long way to go in the season.....

To tell you what really happened to Skaife, ask someone who was there and by that I mean at turn 2. Guess who that would be

Skaife went through turn 1, stuffed that a little bit, caught it and then coming into 2 he hit both pedals at once, then tried again and missed both pedals. Hope the photos come out. What was really bad of Skaife was not to finish his lap but come into the pits.

Yip yip yipee! And about time too...lets hope the meeting gets cancelled now, Ford top 4 on Qualifying points! Yess

So much for my prediction of DJR....oops. Also good to see Cam McLean got a start, despite not pre-qualifying. Anyone know what the go there is?
