Another rumor - #29 Sponsor

another rumor. I am hearing that GM Goodwrench will not be back next year for the #29 car. Possibility of Shell Oil coming aboard. Hershey will stay with RCR.

Good, well, not good as when ever the Reese's car wins I swore to by Peanut Butter Cups.

GM Goodwrench leaving though? That is strange, any reason why? Not enough exposure now the team is winning? (Sarcasm)

Is that the COOT? Doesn't look as bad as I remembered it.

It hasn't been said for sure, but GM is going broke so they don't have the 15 to 20 million a year to spend on sponsoring a team on top of what they spend in manufacturer support. It isn't really shown for sure, but I think they might be back in some limited associate sponsor role.

It looks like the car of the future too with the rear wing and side windows.

The CoT car don't look *that* bad when they are all painted up, the white/grey/black cars that seem to be at all the tests look horrible, the 16 car was at a race ages ago, maybe Martinsville? all painted up in the National Guard colours and it looked pretty good.

RCR has the number 30 still I imagine. Maybe they should switch as sort of a tribute to the old Chuck Rider Pennzoil cars?

I like the paint scheme a lot. For some reason I like the bright colored stock car schemes better, maybe because you don't see them as often. Cars are usually dark colors or white. It seems to fit well with the bright orange of the Reese's sponsor too.

I also like the paint scheme. It will be easier to spot on the track.

AC Delco is leaving RCR also. They'll need a sponsor for both their full time Busch teams now. Wonder if GM is going to pull out of racing entirely before too long.
