Tony Noske Steps Down From Prancing Horse Racing

15 October 2001
MEDIA RELEASE
NOSKE STEPS DOWN

Motor racing management specialist Tony Noske today announced that he is stepping down from his role with the high-profile Bud Racing/Prancing Horse Racing team.

Noske has taken the decision to scale back his involvement with the team he co-founded with owner Tony Raftis, to concentrate on business opportunities and his family.

"Tony and I started from scratch just over 18 months ago, and now the team has a Ford Falcon V8 Supercar, two Ford Mustang Cobra RA GTP cars and runs up to 10 Ferrari 360 Modena Challenge cars, so we`ve come a long way in a very short time," Tony Noske said.

"It`s been an incredible period, hectic beyond belief, and now that the V8 Supercar program is up and running I think it`s a good time to move on."

Noske plans to pursue some new business opportunities outside motor racing, and spend time with his three young sons.

"Building a new team from scratch has been a tremendous challenge and it`s been a great achievement by all concerned, but now it`s time to be fair to the family and spend some time with the boys.

"Naturally, I will be watching the team with great interest and I wish them well for the future."

Mark Noske and Prancing Horse Racing team owner Tony Raftis have been forced to abandon their visit to the Ferrari World Championship celebration at Monza (Italy) later this month.

Noske was scheduled to drive Raftis’ ex-Schumacher Ferrari F310B Formula 1 car in a demonstration event at Monza, together with contesting the final round of the World 360 Challenge series.

However, major delays in freight movements brought on by the international situation has meant neither car could be readied in time for the Monza event.

Not sure - think about this - JB and Briggs part company.

Tony noske (not Mark) leaves Prancing Horse.

Now - unless they are going to team up with a *new* team - where are they going?
