Crash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the gridCrash Test should be qualifying in the top 5 on the grid
Should the V8s even be running there?

Remember the carnage from last year, not something teams like at the start of the year.

They can't have it as a championship round for reasons such as TV, etc.

Wouldn't a banger bash em up race entertain the crowd just as much?

And really, I don't think the V8s will impress that many people when they are up against F1...

But then again, it is the biggest crowd V8s race in front of all year

Yes they should. They are Australia's biggest category.

Now if only FHolden were racing there.

Whilst I feel the races are too short and serve no real purpose they do give the V8s some great exposure to people who might not normally consider watching them eg Corporate Bozos with free box seats etc.

But do corporate bozzos watch:

a) V8s in a cue behind the safety car
b) The grid girlies
c) their caviar

I personally don't mind them running...but...

I would have to say they should be there..along with every other top line series in this country..this is a world championship event and we should be showcasing OUR talent in the way of F Ford, maybe F3 if it really takes off and formula holden ..maybe someone will get spotted and who knows what may happen...and then of course GTP and V8's are right up there as well..and they should run for reasons mentioned above..I guess its a good way to get things sorted with new cars and drivers before the start of the season..but they should all run especially f holden which should also be run at Indy gold coast.
