Rodney Forbes

They've got to revoke this guy's licence before he seriously injures someone with his lack of driving ability, he is a deadset embarrassment to the sport.

He's obviously fast enough to be there as he can qualify ok, but his actual racing ability is very questionable IMHO.

Nah, I think they did the right thing by benching Ritter- 00 had 10 times the coverage today than what they have had for the entire season

It’s time to go… Rodney!

Bob Forbes scales back to a one car team leaving Rodney at the helm. This alone makes no business sense for a race team what so ever picking Rodney over Ritter, he is there because he is the son of the boss, we all know this.

What’s got me annoyed is the fact he is a spoiled little brat that probably threw a tantrum to get that seat over Ritter. I would have thought being gracious and saying, “hey dad, Greg is a better driver, let him have the seat for the good of the team.” Would have prevailed.

Instead we get what we saw today. Ridiculous, untalented and ignorant driving.

It makes me feel ill that a back running, untalented daddy’s boy like Rodney almost ruined Marcos’ race and did ruin Skaife’s.

Mighty good words by Jeff too, “the bloke cant even spin properly let alone anything else.”

In the words of Linkin Park:
“Forfeit the game before somebody else takes you out of the frame and puts your name to shame (too late), cover up your face, you cant run the race, the pace is too fast you just wont last!”

Rodney was leading the race before Marcos took him out

But it was for positon and therefore marcos SHOULD have been penalised. If that happened to be Skaife or Ingall defedning their position and got punted off we wouldnt of heard the end of it. Marcos should be penalised.

He may not have made his stop but he was leading the race!
He should not have to bend over just because he was on a different strategy to everyone else.

Yeah and if his strategy had of paid off ( his strategy being the rest of the field actually not finishing) he might have recorded his best result, second behind the safty car. Because that is the only way that that nuff nuff will ever make it to the front.

If they penalise Ambrose for that incident (that in the context of the race was never going to affect the out come) then I wouldn't want to be Rodney at the next meeting when the Ford fans corner him down the back of the pits.

Agree totally. It is an absolute rought that nothing was done about this incident, it shows the stupidity of officials. How they can penalise Murphy for a guy jumping on the brakes in front of him and not Ambrose for punting someone off, bewilders me no end. Im not sure how they can expect the public to take them seriously anymore, it has become a joke.

If you have a look at the other thread I started this afternoon - the penalties advice from WA - you will see a remarkable number of 'insufficient evidence' results.

Now, far be it from me to suggest that anything was said to the Stewards of the Meeting - but - well - anyone for a fish dinner for the rest of the week?

I think it is time for the stewards to be replaced as they've seem to have lost the plot, all one asks as a fan is for consistency but the officials seem hell bent on being as inconsistent as possible.

You're right... If the race was "called" due to dangerous conditions...(like at Phillip Island) Forbes would have been the winner (Sad but true). He was on the lead lap and was the loser in that incident.

I don't really like Forbes that much, but fair is fair, Ambrose should have been penalised.
