Congrats to MulsanneMike!!!

I went to his website yesterday to discover that our fellow forum member and unofficial "Resident Aerodynamics Authority" has accepted a position with G-Force in Atlanta, where he will (his indirect quote)
"will be a model maker for G-Force to establish G-Forece's permanent U.S. Aero program" and that he will spend a lot of time in the wind tunnel as part of his job...

His background (also on his site) notes that he was involved in the Kudzu projects and worked for Riley & Scott's programs...

He is leaving the "Racing Capital of the World" (Indy...sorry, but I'm biased!!!), where he worked for another highly-reputable company in the racing industry...Allied Composites....

A second congrats goes to Mike and his wife, who are expecting a child sometime in August

...maybe a "Mike Jr.", a fellow aero authority???

...or a "Michelle," one of the first women to design an LMP prototype that races at Le Mans????

I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say "Contratulations, Mike" and
all the best in your new position with G-Force....I look forward to watching and enjoying the "fruits of your labor" each May at the Brickyard as the G-Force Chassis (which won last year's Indy 500) screams around that famed oval...

Now for My Question:

Can we many 10/10ths Forum members crash on your floor each year when we attend "Petit Le Mans???"

Just kidding....we all wish you the best, and we look forward to hearing about you endeavors at G-Force in the future...

Yeah, I read that too. Congrats to Mike and family!

It's really cool that the move coincides with living closer to family, too.

Well....

G-Force IS par tof the Panoz Motorsports Group....

Maybe let the Panoz side focus on the GT class Esperanza, while G-Force builds privateer-oriented LMP cars to sell to customers on the side while they build their Indy Car program????

I see it as an added platorm to develop the Indy Car....since Tony George wants to add some road races in 2005 and beyond...

But that is wishful thinking...

To be honest, I went to the site because i had spaced out and forgot to send him a contribution to help pay for the continuation of the site...

I think it is a great asset to us as sportscar fans, and if you get the opportunity, you ought to send him a buck or two....my contribution is not a big one, but I figure every little bit helps...

and he gives a great deal of his time and energy to give us such a wonderful resource...

Outta that one????

How do I get in???
