eclectic should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Having just sold my T44, I am once again thinking of getting something for low budget post war racing....

This is to complement my VSCC actvities.

Suggestions welcome.

Formula Junior!!!

Seriously there are some great cars out there. I would go for a low cost late 50s or early 60s sports (sports racing car). I know a lot of these like Juniors are now much more expensive than a few years ago but there are som bargins to be had. I like Turners for a start and I saw an interesting Elva in the States. To be honest Mike you get better value over there.

nearly everyone I talk to will actively go and watch, support, and enjoy historic events, but not modern events . . .as new racers we have freinds who come and support and have thoroughly enjoyed their days out in every respect, when half of them wont even watch a GP on TV.

the thought that the clubs wouldnt work together and support each other is frankly rediculous.

IMHO it would do wonders for the organisation (and commercial viability!) of club motor sport, for more clubs to undertake 'joint venture' meetings. Nobody knows all the answers but we might find more of them if we work together.

Well said John...we are all in this together. And thanks for doing the Clerk of the Course job. And no I am not creeping...just praying that it does not rain as per last year.

I think we all agree with that! the rain was incredible!
Eclectic re the Elva I think it has been sold if its teh same one that I think it is but it only had a Ford crossflow engine so would not be competitive
