Greg Moore - Remembered 10 years on

Hi all,

Saw this lovely tribute to Greg over at motorsport.com

http://www.motorsport.com/news/article.asp?ID=350683

I can still remember the day very clearly. To a 15yr old Peat, seeing his CART icon die before his eyes (I was on holiday in Barbados and it was the first time i got to see a CART race live on TV) was too much to bear.

RIP Greg - 'See you up front' #99

Another good tribute here
'No one forgets about Greg Moore'

I remember watching him in Toronto in 99, not knowing that it would be the last time I saw him, cheering for him and Tracy, with my Dad and brother in Thunder Alley.

Great driver; saw his appalling accident on the box as it happened; absolutely dreadful. It doesn't seem like 10 years ago.

RIP Greg

He was my hero when I was 12 years old. I was devastated when I saw the crash live on TV and when I heard he passed away the next morning.

RIP Greg

10 years? it seems like it was barely 1 year ago, i remember that day so clearly its scary. seeing an incident as big as that live on tv took me straight back to '94 at Imola, something i hoped we'd never have to see again. such a talented guy with some great prospects, i have no doubt he'd have gone on to be champion may times over...sad day for all.
