Interesting that Chasports and 23RED are now pit buddies..

And that BJR is soooo far back in the queue.

At Bathurst, both Mr Moffat and Mr Gibson actively chose the pitbays at the entry to pit lane, not the exit.

We have worked out that the pit entry is not as good, too easy to get blocked in by the cars coming into the pits

Whoever said that Stanaway is an arrogant prick, these are his words:
Quote:
Rookies don’t do well in this category historically, so I don’t see any reason why I would be an exception to that.(...)In the first year for me I don’t have any ideas in my mind about results; I just want to learn as much as possible.
Just because he doesnt smile to everyone and says how great they are and is impressive when it comes to results (creating a huge hype around him - not created by him however) doesn't mean that he's an arrogant type. Just saying, I remember many bitter words about him.

People feel the same about Whincup, too.

Purely because he's not a people person.

I can see how someone may come to the conclusion for the bits we have seen of him on the telecasts. But yeah, shouldn't judge on such small exposure.
He reminds us here at home of our oldest son, quiet and reserved but capable and confident.
I'm stoked he's landed at Tickford and looking forward to watching his progress

BJR ends 18 year association with BOC to begin relationship with CoreGAS, and hints at another Wesfarmers brand on the side of BJR cars this season.

Coregas’ parent, the Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety network, will also be part of the sponsorship mix on Nick Percat’s #8 entry this year.

Bunnings here we come?

Coregas was an SBR sponsor not long before Erebus arrived...

Somebody else should go target BOC...

Both JB and Bunnings have effectively shown this to be their decision making. JB even have a boilerplate on their website telling people not to even send sponsorship proposals in...

Supercheap started because the big boss was racing and he put the logo on the side, and it really helped build the brand - and the business to business side made a lot of sense for them too.

Now they are a much bigger operation and the racing is an integral part of their marketing strategy and they activate it well.

Didn’t John Bowe approach JB about sponsorship, only to be politely declined.

Some businesses always seem to be anti Motorsport but are happy to do the community thing and support the various footy codes.
