Thruxton Marshaling

Hi all,

I want to spread the old wings a bit and see more the motorracing world outside of Brands and will be ringing BARC to volunteer to marshal the BTCC at Thruxton.

just wondering - were would you sign on at Thruxton, and were would be the best place to park.

Thanks in advance

You'll be more than welcome at Thruxton. I've gone the other way, after marshalling at Thruxton for all my marshalling years so far, I went to Brands for the first time at the end of last year. I'm even going to try Silverstone this year for the GP Masters!
It's a shame we don't get extra points for milage!

Well, as Thruxton's also my home circuit, think of the pile of points I'd have for doing the GP Masters at Kyalami last November!!!!!!

Air miles type things, that would be a great Idea, I'd start saving for a TV again, Like when tiger tokens were out, I was only 100 short of a tv and they stopped it, and then I didn't redeem them In time, I had millions

I must admit if we as marshal's got green shield stamps for the amount of travelling we all did..

Methinks we could corner the market on alarm clocks and electric blankets
