2003 MSA Marshals Licence

Just checking - has anyone else received their 2003 MSA marshals licence yet?

My clerk's licence came through before Christmas.

Cheers all

Hi Steve,

Yes, mine came about a week ago. No grading card, though.

Got mine last week.

I thought the bit on the back with space for signatures and training day signatures was the grading card (or equivalent)?

No! No! No!

The MSA card is purely for attendance signatures not upgrades.

Both times when I upgraded I three received items; a letter of congratulation and badge acknowledgement slip showing the next step I may wish to take, the new badge and finally a blank upgrade card.

I would suggest that you contact your regional grading officer for your new upgrading card.

Hope this helps.

Thanks KB.

My original upgrade pack was lost in the post so I had to have a replacement sent out. The replacement consisted of just a badge and nothing else.

I'll get on to Tony McGuire to get an upgrading card.

See you on the 8th!

Sent mine off at the end of November and still haven't had it although I have received my new badge. An e-mail to the grading officer I think!!

My upgraded licence has not appeared.
My son's licence (don't call him 'Young Rod') arrived this month.
Rang a charming young lady at MSA and she is sending it out "again".

What happened to the "previous" licence?
Now which of you is trying to impersonate me?

A friend uses my address for his MSA info and his Marshals stuff came a couple of weeks ago but mine hasn't shown. I know things have been frantic because they had to rush through the scheme for rally marshals and I guess they got half way through marshals and decided to give priority to drivers who needed to register for their season.
I'll stay cool for another week before chasing Mr Dean-Lewis

Well despite sending a change of address to three different clubs who will remain nameless, their respective availability forms and my MSA licence has been forwarded by Royal Mail to my new address. And there is only an attendance card as upgrading is done by your club as far as I am aware. But I did note the new MSA licence has a 'use by date' which is a good step.

I've got my BMMC membership but no new MSA card. Should I be expecting one?!?!! Since I'm still officially a trainee?

thnink if my memory is correct (so long ago now) that trainee's are administered by their club and only graded marshals by the MSA this ia also the purpose of the MSA national scheme to have clubs on a consistent trainee scheme first. hope this helps. (ps thanks that has reminded me need to reapply to BMMC and send in availability - lets plan 2003 then!!)
