It may be best for Liuzzi to have a testing roll. |

I actually think the best line up would be Coulthard and Liuzzi, with Klien in a testing role.
Coulthard brings the experience, and Liuzzi in my mind has a bit more pace to offer than Klien. |

Dc given Test with Red Bull
Dc has been given yet another lifeline
Dc is due to have a test for RBR (Red Bull Racing) this week. Dc Said that because of thier position, he will most likely go to them |

A blend of youth and experience, i.e coulthard and Liuzzi or Klein could be just the ticket for RBR.

If he struggles in the test, that'll presumably be the end of it; otherwise I think he's the right man to lead the team. His main disadvantages of recent years (1-lap qualifying and second-priority treament within the team) should be gone now.

I hope those involved in Red Bull Racing think before opening their mouths in future. Every day they seem to contradict themsemves regarding Coulthard.

Apparently the on/off saga continues.
http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpa...s_art_id=23072 According to Red Bull the drivers scheduled to test this week are: Klien, Luizzi and Neel Jani. This doesn't preclude DC testing at a later date, or appearing later in the week. At the 'moment' in F1 speak often means just that, and not what might happen tomorrow or the next day! |

He clearly is going to test - but Red Bull are wanting to get a PR splash from their big announcement, rather than sneaking the information out in advance.
It's most likely DC's test will come AFTER he's confirmed as a part of the team. |

David would bring some degree of credibility to a team which surely needs it. They need to break out've the "son-of-jag" image, and two newbies doesn't further that goal. Of the experienced guys out there, who else is there ? I suspect (and hope) he'll be more motivated than D Hill was at Jordan. Time will tell. I wish him the best.

Definitely think that DC deserves a race seat at RBR. He has not been that good this year, but isn't out of it completely and I definitely think he deserves a go here. A good experienced driver would be good for them. Also, i believe Klien should be retained as a number two and Vitantonio Liuzzi the third driver, but the quicker this guy gets into F1 the better, he has talent to burn.

I suspect David Coulthard's appearance in the car means he will be the lead driver for Red Bull racing.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that the new team intend to have a number one/number two arrangement.

I'd like to apologise to RWC and Datto for the obvious fact that DC pinched their girlfriends and caused them to be so blind to his qualities that they regard Klien as a better driver. DC was closer to Mika (a double champion with 3 years extra experience) than Klien has been to Webber (a promising but as yet unproven driver with 2 years more experience). Add to that DC's development skill, tactical nous and cool head (well it is shaped like an ice-cube), and the fact that he won't suffer from one-lap qualifying any more,a dn he has to be the right choice.
