Minardi to tap Arab market
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/3271803.stm
Formula One minnows Minardi are hoping to break into the Arab market by teaming up with an Algerian Formula Three driver. Nassim Sidi Said will work with the team, i assume as a test driver, with the possibility of getting a race seat in the future. This could a good move for Minardi, the arab economy is getting stronger, and with the introduction of the Bahrain GP, Arab products have the ability to be advertised. |

It makes one think back to the days of old when Williams had a fair amount of Saudi sponsorship. Good luck to Minardi I say, the more sponsors the better.

If you look at the Williams with Saudi sponsorship the name Albilad is very visible on the car. That was one of the Bin Laden enterprises........Bin Laden Jr. to drive for Minardi?
This should be interesting. |

I can see Bin Laden calling his son Jr. Seems a bit too American to me
With the geographic expansion of the calendar it makes sense. I wonder if there is a market for Minardi? |

Good for Stoddy. Should help improve his budget in the long term. You know what these Arabs are like with their cash. They seem to spend it like water.
