FIAGT Round 1 Silverstone 6/7 May 2006

Just two weeks to go !!

Really looking forward to the 2006 season. No WTCC () and what looks like being a fantastic new addition with the arrival of GT3.

Can't find a timetable for the weekend yet but the entry list for the Silverstone race is here.

Darren Manning and Joe Tuckey will drive the RJN Nissan 350Z. Brief article here on the FIAGT website. It'll be interesting to see how Darren adapts to a GT car. I wonder if he now plans to carve out a career in Sportscar and GT racing having left the IRL and failed to secure a single seater drive (apart from his A1 outing a few weeks ago).

F360 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I couldn't find a timetable either.......but did book my weekend tickets today.
The FIA GT race is scheduled for a 1.30pm start on Sunday and the ticket office told me that the GT3 races will be saturday afternoon 2.30 (?) for race 1 with race 2 on sunday, I'm assuming during the morning...

Be nice to see an official full timetable though.
