So from the amount of time this has taken can we infer that there is indeed a disconnect between what's written down and what drivers are told?
Seems it's cut and dry by what's in writing |

This is a mob who let Jason Bright cut half a lap at Eastern Creek a few years ago, now takes them hours to decide if a lap is legal because a car was outside a magic yellow line for 20 metres. There are murder cases that are decided quicker than this.
Leave the lap as is and get on with it. |

DJRTP seem to be willingly wearing the black hats lately, first with the pit lane speeding, then somehow not taking responsibility for Scott crashing into Lowndes, now complaining about this... Why not just suck up the umpire's decision and get on with racing?

I recall T8, others, protesting in the past. It's all part of the game. Anything to gain an advantage.
Right? |

Hopefully we get to hear the facts of the situation otherwise it'll be the usual conspiracy cesspool.

Are there transcripts of driver briefings? Would love to see something in writing, almost seems like a legal requirement

Common sense prevails.
Seems the track needs a re-marking. |

Common sense would have been to remark the track when you said you would

Larko stirring, love it. Fair point though, Penske will want to re-homologate with more composites to achieve the same benefit. Hopefully that will come in the form of a new shape or manufacturer though.

seriously, all this because of a bit of plastic on the track,
Was the risk of the plastic on the track higher the the risk of bunching the field |
