The car looks disproportioned. The cockpit doesn't look cohesive at all. I prefered it open top tbh!

That is not a good-looking car. The greenhouse makes DPs look elegant and well-proportioned.

I feel sorry for that thing being put into existence. Isn't there a charity out there somewhere which could help it out?

It is a shame that it looks pretty dreadful from the front. Only a mother could love that son......

Imo, the ZEOD is the "prettier twin", but that's not really a compliment.

There seems to be a little difference of opinion between the DW and Nissan about the driver seating position... center or right. Have the FIA/ACO regs been finalized about that yet?

I guess ALMS/USCR rules allow some freedom. Dave Price said somewhere that DW is using central position for added driver protection/optimum vision and that to change it to FIA compliant offset position was quite easy to do.

I know it's a racecar, but is the Deltawing a sportscar?

Looks more like a spaceship imo! If anything it's unique and futuristic (looking).

First you need to define what a sportscar is. If it is a vehicle with 2 seats and 4 wheels than the Deltawing is as much a sportscar as most other prototypes whose ability to seat 2 normal people is questionable. Perhaps for 2 seater we should read " squeeze 2 slim hipped individuals into driving compartment".

Thought the DW was single seater?

According to this it can be set up with offset seating if required to comply with 2014 regulations. |
