Gary, friends of mine stayed at the Radisson for that very reason a few years ago. I have asked them for their feedback & will let you know their thoughts.

Trip advisor is also a good way to check places out - always bearing in mind people are far more likely to leave a bad review rather than a good one.

Thanks Alex / Cliff. I do use the booking and review sites so I'm familiar with them thanks and as you say there are a few options. The Radisson looks favourite at the moment for the reasons given but any further feedback would be appreciated as suggested Cliff.

Thanks again.

P.s. I will be timekeeping in Barcelona next week for the next F1 tests but I suspect we won't be using stopwatches there! No doubt the cars will be slightly different to those that will appear at the Classic.
Historic cars racing round Spa in the dark should present a great and different opportunity for photography!

OT, but while you are at Barca please check whether the F1 boys take their own mobile shower and toilet blocks! Can't believe they have to use the ones behind the garages. I guess race control will have own private facilities....

If anyone wants an Alfa to use in this race we have one for sale.
It's cheap!

It has been replaced by an ex works Lotus Elite that is due to race in two hour Sixties G T race should we ever get an answer to our messages from Peter Auto.

Gary I'm still waiting for feedback from my friends about the Radisson @ Spa as they are away (as am I) & will let you know as soon as I hear.

From memory it was fairly newly refurbished at the time & it gave them the relaxing space they wanted away from the circuit.

I think the thrust of Gary's plight may be the need for a spa or somesuch for Mrs Gary to enjoy whilst Gary is enjoying himself. That means the Beau Site or any of the excellent guest houses just won't do.

Nail on the head Peter. Thanks to all for advice etc. hope to book next week when back in the UK.

OT reply for Mike - I can confirm that the F1 boys are using portable 'facilities' but not like any portable facilities that I've seen before! No surprises there of course.
