Nerus Silhouette F100 Campionship

Dear Members,

I was recently looking for an historic Formula Ford car and found this very rare Nerus Silhouette, which I bought immediately:

http://classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3200.asp?id=13148

Does anyone know more about this car or the 1969/70 F100 championship? I know that a sister car is currently racing with an non-original 2 litre engine in the HSCC in the UK.

Regards,
Jan

In 1971 the TARMAC F100 championship was scheduled for 20 rounds at five circuits:

Mallory Park - 14th March, 28th March, 16th May and 25th July
Brands Hatch - 7th March, 2nd May, 30th May, 20th June, 4th July, 26th September and 27th December
Castle Combe - 12th April
Oulton Park - 31st May, 12th June, 28th August, 18th September, 2nd October and 16th October
Snetterton - 30th August and 10th October

Nick Cole came second in the first round at Brands and then third in the second round at Mallory on 14th March (a meeting I attended). I didn't attend any other of the meetings where rounds were scheduled.
The car was eneterd at Mallory as a "Silhouette BMC". The cars all ran Ford or BMC 1300cc engines and in the same race at Mallory Chris Lee was in the SL2 Silhouette again with BMC engine.

Dear Steve,

thank you very much for the information, I highly appreciate it!
Does anyone else know more about the F100 series? I always thought it only took place in 70 & 71, now I hear they also raced in 72....
