Super Touring cars
I remeber talk of a series running the Super Touring cars some time this year does anyone have any infomation about this???

There was also the Pirelli Touring Car Challenge in Europe? Averages about 6 ST cars I think?

cheers for your input but what i was talking about was, an advert in autosport at the begining of the year for four or five rounds with ex BTCC cars from 1995-2000 in the UK Supertouring cars will try dig it out.

It was the Super Touring Challenge. Originally it was run as a one-off event at Snetterton July 2004. The plan was for 3-4 race mini-series this year, subject to getting enough entries. Sadly the required number of entries never materialised and the series was cancelled. If it had gone ahead it would have been at Donington this weekend.
Search through National/Club forum for 'Super Touring Challenge', it's been mentioned there several times. |

Cheers Redshoes, thought i was going mad for a second.
Its a real shame there was not enough entrys would have been brilliant the worst part is that theres still motorsport fans that never had or maybe will never have the chance to witness Supertourers again. |

yes makes me glad i saw the events i did - several formula saloon races and the st trophy at snetterton last year, there was about 12 cars in that i believe, won by jonathan young whos now in scc
some st cars run every now and then in britcar, track & race cars, & lma euro saloons |

There were three super touring Primeras at the LMA round at Brands in July, check this site http://www.richspeedracing.com/ Richard is a ten-tenther so you may be able to find out more from him.
