NASCAR on ITV1 (UK)
NASCAR will now be on ITV1 aswell, next Sunday, in ITV's new thing Speed Sunday - The thing (not a program, just lots of motorsport) will also include F1, BTCC and WRC. I thought i would post this so people who didnt see the adveryt during the GP and who are in the UK without Sky could watch NASCAR. I hope this isnt spam...

Not a program? Then what? I gathered it will consist of a group of 'experts'introducing clips of all sorts of motorsport from F1 to formula Woman. Doubt that you will see any more NASCAR than the clips that already appear in Transworld Sport on C4.

Better than expected, they sent Jason Plato to Las Vegas, and tried to introduce NASCAR to an unaware public!
Shame LV didn't put out the best race in the history of NASCAR, but they glossed over it by showing highlights of the two races so far (well...Crash, Checkered Flag, Crash, Checkered flag....hmmm, Deja vu!  ) Overall, good job ITV! Looks like it will the first of a few features on NASCAR too!

I actually fell asleep during the F1 discussion! Saw a timetable promising 10 mins of NASCAR,but woke up to Starsky & Hutch-what had they to do with motorsport?
