That's the '97 car, I think. Got a nice poster of Brocky leaning on the bonnet.

Speaking of unnamed liveries, I think Craig Lowndes ran a black HRT Commodore in the late '90s/early '00s- It looked awesome, but I can't find any pictures or info... Can anyone help out?

92-95 Gibson Winfield GTR/Commodores
PJ Sierra/Falcons
JPS BMW's

All the ciggie companies seem to come up with simple yet brilliant looking liveries, in any form of motorsport.

The DJR Sierras with the metallic gold wheels, in the latter years of group a looked fantastic. The Shell FAI winner from 94 also looked the goods.

Perkins Castrol livery from 93-98, can't wait until they make models of those cars.

Apart from maybe 98, none of the HRT liveries have really looked fantastic imho.

The Silver Castrol SLX car Ingall had (cant remember what year it was)
2006 Britek Cars
2006 JeldWen car- looks better in flesh than tv!
Doulman Gatorade Commodore
Skaifey's Sega Saturn car, last time we ever saw video games on a car.
And last but not least the Last of the Big Bangers Marlboro HDT VK Commodore.

Thats it for me.

HRT have XBOX as a sponsor. I think they might have had Playstation before that.

Could you menan the dark blue and red colourscheme used on the VS Commodore Lowndes raced at Winton in 1999 on his return from injury? This car was also used in the same livery (but as #15) at the previous round at Symmons Plains by Cameron McConville.

At the Honda Indy support races that year Lowndes and Skaife used a pair of VS's also in this colourscheme.

racer69- I think you have it right, I remember seeing a video of it at Winton. It stuck out to me because it was a VS when VTs were around, I'm guessing that's because they hadn't repaired Lowndes' car yet?

This is sort of correct - It was a reversed colour scheme for the retro-verted VS.

The VT has a red front and dark blue back.

Thank you for that Senna05. That paintscheme does look awesome. I would've loved to see HRT use the paintscheme more, that is probably one of the best I have ever seen.

agreed even the VT was much more colourfull and stand out.

Message to HRT:go back to the old days even throw a bit 'Day Glo' red in there.

note:this thread could be a good off season discusion IMO.

Moffat's cars always looked good. His Sierra was the best looking one around in my opinion.
