Derwent Motorsp should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Scottish Classic Speed Fair, June 26/27th

This is at Knockhill of course. Not all historic sadly. Scottish Classic Sports/Saloons, Formula Junior, Equipe GTS, Ferraris, Formula Ford and modern Minis. Also classi rallying, a few demo runs by Old F1 cars and classic car club displays.
Should be some good racing on the tight little track. Superb setting if the weather is good.

I fear that some of the races will struggle with numbers. Last time I heard the Juniors only had 15 entries (compared to over 30 last time they travelled to Knockhill) and the Equipe GTS entries are only about half that number (including mine) although the entry form was late in being posted. Hope we aren't looking at another race cancellation, but a very high percentage of the drivers are based in the south and its a fair old distance. I'm looking at a 9 hour drive each way - if the traffic is kind to me. But as I have to get past London and Birmingham, I doubt that I'll be breaking any records.

It's rather nearer for me but then I have to do long trips in the other direction! it's one of the disadvantages of living close to Heaven!

Sadly the GTS race has been dropped. It's a huge pity that the southern drivers won't come north when we have to come south to race most of the time!

Also disappointing for spectators, who have few visiting classic series to look forward to at Knockhill - hopefully a reasonable number of Juniors will travel .
