Do you mean this one, back in 2008 or thereabouts.... to do with the last Russian GP? I think it was originally meant to be finished by now.

I didnt think it was too awful going by Tilkes previous standards anyway.

Here's the circuit. I'm presuming it's clockwise due to run-off areas, the pit lane entry and exit, and suchforth, but it could equally be anti-clockwise. No confirmation as yet



First impressions are that it looks pretty good. Like Valencia but better. Should be a great street circuit-like setting around the Olympic Park

That Sochi raceway is going to be 5,5 km long with 2,5 km of stationary sections and 3 km of usual roads in the Olympic park. That 2,5 km is going to host national series.

As for Moscow Raceway, it's being build and the first race will be held in 2011. And choice of Sochi is very simple. It's more suitable in the terms of climate. Compare +18..+24 Celsius now in Sochi and 0..+6 in Moscow Region. It's more suitable for the F1 calendar.
