Force India! On the pace all weekend and a heroic effort in the race with both cars in the top 7!

Lotus for me, Force India were a close second but could have done better with a more intelligent strategy.
All the teams had mixed bags this weekend though but Lotus deserve it for having two cars in the top 4 for the majority of the race. |

The problem with the joke vote for HRT is we don't see who you really think is the team of the race.

I thought about Lotus, but gave it to Caterham. They made a significant step forward in qualifying, and were looking good in the race until other drivers intervened.
Vergne's assault on Kovalainen was preposterous: it was reminiscent of Maldonado on Hamilton in Spa last year, though I think Vergne's move was just down to stupidity rather than Maldonado's uncontrolled temper. Ricciardo and Petrov looked more like a 50-50 to me. |

Ferrari - just. A tidy pitstop from them helped matters. Lotus an honourable 2nd place.
Epic fail of the day - McLaren. Why can't they get their pitstops right? |

I can't give credit to Ferrari. I feel that credit for Alonso's performance goes to Alonso and not to the team, whose other driver finished behind both Caterhams. I'm giving the nod to Lotus, who are right there threatening to win.

I've just realised. From a team point of view, there were two clear winners that nobody voted for. Force India and Mercedes, by virtue of being the only teams to get both their cars home and in the points. For me, the Mercedes recovery to get out of their qualifying Doldrums to score a Podium and make a superb call on the tyres to drag Rosburg from 15th into the points, makes them the winners. Having said that, I couldn't make a convincing case against Force India, because they got both their chaps into Q3, and kept them in the points and just didn't get the rub of the green.

Caterham for their impressive improvement. Making it into Q2 on pure pace and mixing it with established teams in the race was good to see.

Caterham for me, good pace to get in to Q2 from Kovalainen and to see Petrov running 10th for a while was also good. Hopefully theyre now starting to turn the corner there.

Yes, Caterham did a very good job, and are probably on a par with STR with regard to performance. I can't see either of the other 'new' teams getting anywhere near them.

I have voted for HRT as their 17th and 18th places with both cars running is their best team result of the season so far.

They may not have got it spot on with Paul, but Force India got both cars a decent points haul, so I went for them. Lotus had one car fail and the other fail to win. They just don't seem to have enough edge yet to win so I can't hand it to them in their position.
